Most of our customers have switched to this blend for wine preservation, and we no longer carry argon. The reasons for this are two-fold: One, this blend offers the same level of preservation as argon without softening more fragile older wines, which is a problem with argon. Sommeliers that we've worked with for years, who have refused to put their Pinot Noirs under argon because of the softening issue, have had very good success with our blend. Two, the argon market has been flooded, in recent years, with cheap low-quality gas, and it's becoming harder to guarantee purity.
